I AM

I am a humanitarian misanthrope... A humanitarian misanthrope is a paradoxical title describing one that dislikes or has a pessimistic attitude towards mankind, but forever strives for its improvement. This might be explained as an individual who views the current state of the human race with a cynical or pessimistic eye, but who still sees intrinsic value in human life or who sees hope for improvement in the human condition; that is, that though the condition of humanity is not at its ideal condition at present, that there is still a chance for positive change. I am not much of a talker.. Unless the mood strikes. When I do talk, 9 times out of 10 its worth it. There is still that one percentile... It dosent mean that I dont enjoy a good conversation now and then. I love to read. I have a good sized collection. I would be the person that was told she couldn't buy her weight in books.. (and I have been given the compliment that that may not amount to too many books anyway... I think he was just being nice!! :) ) Music is one of the best things ever created.. If you can make music or love music then you and I are good. I like knives. I have multiple. I like big fuck off ridiculous ones. Just so ya know. I am as I frequently say, Eclectic. Ask me something, Maybe I'll awnser. :)

"After long study and experience, I have come to the conclusion that [1] all religions are true; [2] all religions have some error in them; [3] all religions are almost as dear to me as my own Hinduism, in as much as all human beings should be as dear to one as one's own close relatives. My own veneration for other faiths is the same as that for my own faith; therefore no thought of conversion is possible." (M. K. Gandhi, All Men Are Brothers: Life and Thoughts of Mahatma Gandhi as told in his own words, Paris, UNESCO 1958, p 60.)
